Updated Schedule

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience, cooperation, and understanding during these past few months. The COVID-19 pandemic has been an unprecedented time for all of us.

I want to update you on a few things. COLTS continues to provide compressed service on 10 of our regular fixed routes. The schedule is listed on the link above and on our COVID-19 page. This schedule will remain in effect at least while we are in the ¡°red¡± phase of the pandemic. We will continue to provide Demand Response Service at least while we remain in the ¡°red¡± phase.

We continue to waive our fares to limit contact between drivers and passengers. We also continue to ask that passengers ride for essential services only. Essential services are life-sustaining trips including work, grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical trips.

When the CDC and Department of Health revised their guidelines on April 7 with regard to the use of masks, we asked that our passengers comply with this and wear face masks or coverings that can be held in placed to protect a person¡¯s mouth and nose. We continue to strongly recommend that all passengers wear a face mask or covering and to practice social distancing on our buses and at the Lackawanna Transit Center. We are all doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19.

COLTS remains vigilant in the sanitizing of our buses and vans. High-touch areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day. The Lackawanna Transit Center remains closed until further notice.

The health and welfare of our community remains our top priority. I have no doubt that we will get through this together, and I thank the COLTS family for doing your part to help flatten the curve of the virus.
