The COLTS Mission

COLTS provides safe, affordable and convenient public transportation for the residents of Lackawanna County.

COLTS has 27 weekday routes and 23 Saturday routes. COLTS transports about 3,700 passengers per day in Lackawanna County, which occupies an area of just under 459 square miles. The largest city in Lackawanna County is Scranton, with a population of about 77,000 residents. Lackawanna County is estimated to have a population of 210,000 people.

COLTS buses run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Some earlier and later service is available on select COLTS routes on both weekdays and Saturdays. Please see individual schedules for timetables.
