Travel Training
Senior Outreach
We are happy to come to help senior citizens learn how to read COLTS schedules, familiarize them with our buses, and answer any questions about the transit system. We can also get them signed up for free bus passes if they are 65 or older, and bring applications for the 65 and Older Senior Shared Ride Program.
We visit senior apartment hi-rises and Active Adult Centers throughout Lackawanna County. Please call (570) 346-2061, ext. 1217, to request a Travel Training Session.
We also regularly participate in senior health fairs.

If you would like a COLTS employee to come and speak to a class about the benefits of public transit and provide travel training, please call (570) 346-2061, ext. 1217.
We are also happy to come out when possible and bring a bus to events such as Lackawanna County Heroes’ Day to let kids see our buses up close and ask questions of our drivers.
